Monday - Wednesday: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Saturday - Sunday: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Born & raised in the N.Y. metro area, Joey Kramer has been a member of the PLJ family for many years.
His one time dream of attending dental school (yes, you read that correctly) was shattered once he stepped into the halls of PLJ radio in 1992. That and the fact he feels perverted wearing rubber gloves.
He drove the station vans, worked in the research department, answered the request lines, and helped out on the Scott & Todd Show. There's rumor he even regrouted the tile in the station's bathroom but we still haven't gotten confirmation on that.
While at PLJ, Joey went on to host his own show in Ossining on WOSS FM. He then expanded his on air duties to the Jersey Shore at WJLK FM Monmouth/Ocean. Next stop was New Haven Ct at KC101. It was around that time he realized there wasn't much of a difference between the radio industry & a root canal but he was never deterred.
In June of 1996, the call he had only hoped for finally came. Joey became a member of the airstaff at PLJ!!
You can listen to Joey on weekends and during other time slots.
He is a 3 time N.Y. A.I.R. Award winner.
In his spare time he does commercial voice-over work. You may have heard him recently on a national tv commercial for Honeynut Cheerios.
If we may say.....he has fantastic teeth.
