Todd Pettengill
Todd Pettengill began his career at the age of 13 in Amsterdam, New York working at all three local radio stations. (WCSS, WMVQ, WKOL)!
He then spent six years at the Albany, New York combo WPTR/WFLY where he hosted the morning show and held the titles of Program Director, Operations Manager and Vice President of Programming.
In August 1991, Todd joined the air staff of WPLJ-FM as morning show co-host and has five times been named Billboard Magazine's "Air Personality of the Year", Radio and Records Magazine “Major Market Air Personality of the Year” six times, he has won five New York “AIR AWARDS” and has an Emmy for his work on the NBC TV show, TV NATION.
Todd Pettengill is also the co-creator of the nationally syndicated Hazardous Comedy Network with Rick Dees. HCN provides original comedy material to over 180 affiliates across the country. HCN is now distributed
by Clear Channel Communications.
For six years (1991-1997) Todd hosted four internationally syndicated television shows for the World Wrestling Federation. WWF Mania, WWF Action Zone, WWF Superstars and WWF Challenge. He was seen in over one hundred and fifty countries by over fifteen million people each week. Todd also hosted the WWF “Countdown Show”, a LIVE thirty minute broadcast on the TV Guide channel that preceded each monthly PPV.
Todd has appeared on the NBC soap opera, Another World playing "Sam the Man" Malone, a character written especially for Todd. He has also appeared on the long running soap, As The World Turns as well as several
daytime and primetime television programs including Entertainment Tonight, Extra, Maury, Montel, Ricki Lake and others.
Additionally, Todd is extremely active in the commercial voice over industry having done national radio spots for several major corporate campaigns such as Budweiser, Little Rascals, Return to Lonesome Dove, Harley Davidson and others.
Todd is also President of his own production company, Pettengill Productions Incorporated, which has produced several full length and short form infomercials for international broadcast. Pettengill Publishing Inc, formed
in 2001, holds all rights and license for his CD's, television treatments, books, articles, and phone scams.
